We make society function for people on the move, on rails, in the air, and on the water. That is why we need the best competence. Our mission is important and has significance in everyday life – both for private individuals and companies. At our organization, we take responsibility, treat everyone well, and respect differences. As an employee, you contribute to a sustainable future.
Do you want to contribute to a safer transport system and make a difference for society through qualified medical assessments? Do you want to become part of our national and international expertise regarding medical fitness for driving licenses or rail traffic? We are now looking for a physician who wants to work with traffic medicine issues at the Swedish Transport Agency.
About the job
Traffic medical assessments affect both individual opportunities to hold a driving license and society's work for increased traffic safety. Therefore, the basis for decisions must be medically well-founded, legally secure, and consistent. The work places high demands on medical knowledge, analytical ability, and the ability to translate medical assessments into a public authority context.
As a physician here, you work with medical issues that are significant for traffic safety and individuals' conditions for operating vehicles safely. The work includes medical assessments based on current regulations, analysis of complex cases, counseling to the operations and external contacts, and participation in the development of the agency's work within traffic medicine.

Here you can expect career development, a trust-based leadership and employee relationship, and a sustainable working life.
